A wide variety of subjects affecting middle level students are presented in health class.  Students are encouraged to use critical thinking skills when dealing with the many issues that are important to them.

Instruction includes the following:  growth and development, disease prevention, conflict resolution skills, substance use and abuse, first aid, and AIDS education.
